Oh look…

The Main Me    Print

Lately, I’ve been experiencing something of an internal struggle… all is well in my life, relatively speaking, but staying on track and on target has been a real challenge. Obviously, there’s something lacking within and I’m on a bit of a mission to understand why my creative mojo is out of whack. The two posters above – courtesy of Personality Central – may well hold the perfect explanation. I’ll be back shortly… need a biscuit…

Where was I? Oh yes… I’ve known for many years that I’m a borderline I/E and that the other three parameters are well up the scale. If you examine the finer detail, the very top line is where I believe the problem lies… possibly as a result of the missing something, I’ve been over-indulging my extrovert side and allowing the distractions in en masse. Oh look, a bird!

Where was I? Ah yes… distractions… The fix, of course, is to shut myself off for a while and just get things done. I’ve mentioned the desire to do this to several friends recently, but haven’t really being paying near enough attention to my own healing ability. “Wytch” (Pt 2), with only about 20-30 pages to go, has been left in a very awkward holding pattern and other projects are jamming up behind. I’m sure it was like that 6 weeks ago, and although the progress is visible, my pace with it has been all over the place. Wait one… need to check the Olympic results…

Where was I? Oh yes… of course… My next few weeks will be tricky, but as soon as they are behind me, I really must plan another visit to the fabulous Kirkly Manor – where my computer works but my mobile phone doesn’t!

Did you hear that? I distinctly heard a sigh of relief – most probably, from me!

gg… over and – oh, before I go, I couldn’t help but notice who my creative counterparts are listed as on these posters and found them very interesting; particularly when I’ve mentioned several of the same names in my author’s bio as being major creative influences! Freaky eh? Oh… a text message…

Where was I? Ah yes!

gg… over and out!
