About the Author:

Graham was born in Bolton, England, at a time when cobble stone streets were the norm, the Bolton Wanderers beat Manchester United for the FA Cup, Harry Webb (Cliff Richard) released his first record, B.O.A.C flew the first jet airline service across the Atlantic and Donald Campbell set a new water speed record at a whisker over 248m.p.h. Over the next few years, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Elvis would lay down the soundtracks for the lives of many thousands of people. Movie musicals would dominate box-offices and the notion of man setting foot on the moon would become a reality. This is the era in which his earliest memories were created.

Migrating to Sydney, Australia, with his family when he was 8 years old added a different layer of experiences and influences to his life. Together, these memories and experiences have inspired his writing. He is the third of four children and is father to two sons and a daughter. He currently lives on the Gold Coast, in sunny south-east Queensland, where it’s beautiful one day and perfect the next!

For many years, the thought of writing a novel was just that... a thought! From the age of 16 he began burning the ears of his friends with his ideas for stories. Finally, and one can only assume out of a desperate need for self-preservation, in 2010, one of his friends convinced him to put fingers to keyboard and bring those ideas to life. Now, with several completed titles, others in various stages of completion and many, many ideas covering a whiteboard, he’s realised his dream of becoming a writer.

His work is influenced by a number of authors, including: J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Willard Price, Kathy Reichs, Raymond E. Feist and J.K. Rowling. He lists Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Vincent van Gogh and John Depp amongst his creative heroes.
